Home to the ospreys, the Bird Rock Lighthouse on the Andros started to work in 1876 as a British construction. It was initially very much like the one we mentioned above. In 1978, however, it underwent a process of modernization and the light itself was extinguished one year later. But in 1999, it was lit up again and the lighthouse was restored, so that it now also houses a small sea history museum.
